My connection to horses:
I have been riding since my mother discovered that I stopped screaming the moment I was placed on a horse. Horses have been a constant presence in my life ever since.
I began working professionally with horses in my teenage years alongside school, and later part-time and full-time. My background includes jumping and eventing before I eventually settled into dressage. Over the years I have broken in horses, trained horses for top sport, and worked extensively with problem-solving and my own development in working with horses in liberty.
What matters most to me, is not the sport itself but the bond. Horses offer an authenticity that is rare — honest, pure, and deeply grounding. When a horse turns to you for leadership, you cannot fail them. That responsibility shapes me.
My curiosity and love of learning are continuously fueled by horses. They have endless wisdom to offer, and they teach me every day. I carry those lessons into every aspect of my life. I consider myself a committed, lifelong student of the horse.
Why I signed up for Paths of Tears:
Paths of Tears spoke to me immediately because it brings together who I am and what I love. Adventure, deep connection with horses, patience, nature, grit, and exploration — both outward and inward.
It feels like a journey that asks for presence, responsibility, and humility, while offering space for growth, reflection, and true partnership with the horse. To me, that combination is deeply meaningful — and impossible to resist ♥️
