I’m a lifelong equestrian, but my most noteworthy experiences began in 2014 when I rode solo with 2 horses across the western United States from the Mexican border to the Canadian border. Since then I have completed three additional rides across the U.S., as well as several other long distance routes. My trips have always been solo and are exclusively in the most remote areas of the country, spanning deserts to mountains tops. In total I’ve accumulated over 24,000 km of backcountry riding. The most rewarding part of these trips is sharing it with my equines and experiencing the world through the lens of a horse and human partnership.

The Pass of Tears will be my first experience of riding in remote areas outside of the U.S. I’m looking forward to giving myself a challenge that I haven’t had in a long time and testing my skills in partnership with two horses that I don’t have a long history with. I’ve been enchanted by Criollos for years and am very much looking forward to seeing Patagonia with two incredible horses.
