We apologize for not sharing an update last night due to technical issues.
The lead group had all reached Checkpoint 4 by the end of the day and spent the night there. Toby, Callie, Santiago, Alfonsina, Andres, Mateo, Gillian, and Ozbe are now back on the move, heading toward Sierra Nevada (Checkpoint 5).
The second group, made of Wiesman, Leo, Louis, Jaco, and Mariaan, successfully made it through the glacier and reached a strong campsite for the night. They are currently around 3 hours behind the lead group and continue their progression across the course.
Around one hour behind, the third group, Daisy and Liam, along with Robin, moved past the rocky sections and glaciers before finding shelter in the first forest. They are continuing steadily.
Chloe and Sofia remained at the compulsory stop for the night and will pass the glacier today.
All remaining riders spent the night together further 2h behind: Lexy, Nour, Isabel, Natasha, Marguerite and Mary, Mariano and Marguerita, Marcos, and Emma.
Nadia has retired from the race due to a twisted ankle and not feeling well.
